While our solid waste disposal landfill does support the disposal of recyclables, Rumpke offers recycling solutions for homeowners and businesses looking to improve their environmental impact. Our recycling program supports single stream recycling, making it easier than ever to recycle your waste.

Solid waste landfills are highly engineered structures designed to protect human health and the environment by properly disposing of trash. Landfills have several liners to prevent trash from reaching soil or water. They also have environmental safeguards in place to remove and destroy landfill gas.

A sanitary landfill is a place where nonhazardous trash is disposed of in a way that’s safe for the environment and the community at large. See Rumpke's commitment to sustainability.
